Jeg sto stoisk med det stigende lyset,
Som trær pustet og kom til liv.
Sjøen reflekterte meg drømmene mine,
Og mørke horisontens åser steg til stor høyde;
Som fugler fusjonerte slått til døråpninger,
Og skyene samlet seg, åpne porten;
Inn som jeg peered gjennom rom og tid,
Og min sjel ble vist livets tidevann.
I stood awestruck losing will to fight,
As heaven's hands outstretched to invite.
The last earthly chains broke freeing my soul,
And like a breath I was swept from hold;
As heavens arms lifted me away,
And wyrd rewove their web of fate;
Into which I dove there within myself to die,
And my soul was reborn again, high.
I stood profound and wiser with pride,
As my soul returned with the flowing tide.
The sky reemerged with the endless sea,
And the skygate closed leaving me the key,
As a single tear danced down my face,
And beauty was carved in all that gleamed.
At once I knew life's nothing to haste.
If only you've seen the marvels I've dreamed.
